A Blog With Quality Content has value!

Around the world there are many thousands of people who make money blogging on the internet. Blogging has become one of the simplest, yet most fun ways to actually draw in web traffic, generate advertising revenue and sell products as well.

A blog is a “web log”, a discussion site where the most recent posts appear at the top. Blogs are interactive forums usually based around a single subject where visitors can post responses to what the owner of the blog states. Blogs can be online diaries, news from an online company, promote a particular viewpoint or a host of other subjects as well.
Can blogging make money? Actually, it can make a considerable amount of money through renting advertising space. For many people, they make money blogging in this manner, but you do need to know how to start.

How to Start Blogging

The best blogging make money online guidelines start with establishing the right platform, adding good content and understanding how to create an income stream with your blogging efforts.
Choose the Right Blog Platform: The best way to get started is by selecting the right blogging platform for your needs. WordPress is generally considered one of the best platforms around because it is very user-friendly, easy to maintain and update and there are many great cost effective premade blogs to choose from. Visit our pre-made blog gallery to see a few.

Write Quality Content:

The content that you write must first and foremost be interesting, engage the readers and feature the right keywords in order to pull in new readers. Known as search engine optimization (SEO), the proper use of pulling in potential readers requires adding the right keywords to the content that Google, Yahoo and Bing search engine users will find. This generates more traffic and interest in your website, but the content itself must be good, interesting and engaging.

Monetizing your Blog:

Now that people are showing up, how can you make money blogging? The answer is through a number of means that can generate a substantial income.
– Google AdSense
– Sponsored Postings
– Affiliate Offers
– Sponsored Ads & More

These are just a few ways your blog can start making money. Naturally, you will want to balance your content with just the right amount of ads in order to make it work. Too many advertisements and products for sale will turn off potential customers while not having enough will hamper your ability to make money blogging.

It’s important to remember that the initial blog set up is a marathon not a sprint. You must be persistent in your efforts and maximize your use of monetizing products. Of course, finding the right balance of adverts and content can seemingly be difficult, but the truth is that thousands of people do so on a daily basis. And most of all choose a topic that suits you. Choose a topic that you can genuinely speak on and have expertise in. The more you love to talk about your topic the easier it will be to create great quality content! Can you think of other ways to monetize your blogging efforts?

The term “malware” is a combination of the words “malicious” and “software” which is used to describe a category of software that has been coded and designed for malicious purposes. You’ll most often hear it referred to as a “malware virus” sense it evades computers and websites much like a human virus.

Types of Malware Viruses

There are many different forms of the malware which includes standard Viruses, Spyware, Rootkit, Trojan Horses and more.

Virus:

A Virus is your standard malware, designed to multiply itself when invading a computer or website. Once it finds it’s way in it can damage your computer or website, corrupting data by inserting itself in lines of code. The effects are numerous, yet the it’s ability to multiply and spread rapidly are what make malware virus’ so damaging.

Trojan horse:

This type of malware gets its name from the Trojan War in regards to the tale of the Tojan Horse. The Greeks used a Trojan Horse disguised as a gift to the City of Troy, but secretly it had soldiers inside ready to invade the city.

The Trojan Horse malware virus similarly disguises itself as something good but secretly is a malware virus that is design to carry out specific actions on your computer or website. Quite often, the Trojan horse is used to allow unauthorized access to your website or computer.

Worms:

This malware spreads from one computer to another “worming” its way across the network. Unlike a virus, it does not attach itself to a computer program. It can reek havoc on shared computer networks and shared hosting accounts, using massive amounts of bandwidth and damaging files in the process.

Spyware:

It does just that, spy. Once implanted onto your computer from, typically an unsecured website that has itself been infected with the spyware, it then gathers information without users knowledge, sending it to the hacker. Personal information can range from passwords, usernames, bank information, etc. and can lead to identity theft and other fraudulent crimes.

Rootkit:

This malicious software is stealthy in nature as it hides within the computer or website to provide illegal access by hackers. This virus can be automated or installed directly during a website hack. The name comes from the word “root” and “kit”, describing its method of obtaining root access that allows it to remain easily undetected and take complete control of a system.

Who is Most Vulnerable to Malware Viruses?

The computers and websites that are the most vulnerable are the ones that lack proper virus protection. They do not have any anti-virus software for their computer or have 24/7 monitoring by malware specialists for their sites. This leaves the computers vulnerable to hackers and website hack attacks that will lead to popular search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing blocking your site from their services to protect customers from having their computers infected.

In addition, your website is vulnerable if it is on a “shared server” as opposed to a “private server”. This is because an infection on one website may spread across the server and invade your website as well as the others which are present.

How to Deal with a Malware Virus

If your computer or website has been infected by a malware virus, then you will need to have it cleaned up by the professionals with the knowledge, experience and software to do the job. They can evaluate the damage that has been done and then provide the proper malware virus removal techniques to clean and restore your website or computer.

How to Stay Protected Against a Malware Virus

Now that your computer or website has been thoroughly cleaned and is ready to run at full capacity again, it is very important that you get protection for your computer and/or website to prevent future infections that are planted by hackers. Websites will need 24 hr monitoring that will scan and protect your website on an ongoing basis. And if you already been hacked once the chances that you will be hacked again are high since you website is already on the hackers radar.

For a computer you must get anti virus software that will protect your computer from all malware virus’. Adding the right protection will provide you with an ample defense in keeping your computer and website clean and functioning normally.

At Transformed Design, we specialize in cleaning infected websites and offer an annual website virus protection service, designed to protect your website from all future attacks.

Communicating with Infographics

Infographics is a visualization tool that explains information in a short, direct manner. In essence, you are creating infographics to explain visually something that would take paragraphs of text or a much longer time to explain verbally.

Data visualization taps into the part of the brain that makes it easier to grasp and assimilate information. This means that your readers will know and understand what you are explaining faster and more completely if your infographic design is well presented.

The Benefits of Using Infographics

There are a number of benefits to incorporating infographics into your website. You need to strike the right balance of presenting your information as too many infographic images will actually clutter up your web page.

Easy to Understand Information:

It can be difficult for people to assimilate information that is presented either verbally or in text form. This is because it takes longer to properly digest information that is presented in that fashion. Infographics however take less time because they provide a simple, clear way to present otherwise complex information. For example, describing what your product looks like verbally will take far longer than just showing them the product itself.

Viral Capabilities:

Infographics are far more likely to be shared on social networks such as Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and the like. This means that more people will see it, share it and it will generate links back to your website which will create more opportunities for your business.

SEO Benefits:

The viral nature of infographics means that more links will be generated which is part of a search engine optimization (SEO) marketing effort. This means that more people are likely to see it on search engine results when looking for information about what you are selling.

Demonstrate Expert Understanding of the Subject:

For someone visiting your website and drawing conclusions about whether to purchase from you or not, having good infographics can make all the difference. Infographics will demonstrate your command and knowledge of the subject which in turn increases your business brand.

How Effective Will Infographics Work for You

Conveying important information visually, especially when presenting that information would be difficult to do with text or audio demonstrate to your readers the care, concern and eagerness to which you back your product or service. Basically, you not only build up what you sell, but what your business is which helps customers find the trust they need to buy from you.

Spicing up your web pages with effective infographics will result in gaining more customer attention, better chances at your graphic images being shared and an improvement to your business brand as well. Naturally, you will have to be judicious with how you use the infographics so that they do not overwhelm the presentation of your website. You can contact the professionals at Transform Design for the best in infographic designs.

Do you use inforgraphic material on your web page? If so, do you feel that you are using them too much or not enough? Be sure to leave your comments to let us know how effective your infographic information has been for your website.

Conversion rates are essentially the ratio of the number of people who visit your website to the number of customers that purchase your product. For example, for every 10 people who visit your website, if one person should make a purchase that is a conversion rate of 1 to 10. The better the conversion rates, the more effective your website is at getting customers to buy.
Naturally, your goal is to increase conversion rates so that your marketing efforts are even more successful while putting in less work. Plus, it is actually easier and cheaper to boost your conversion rate rather than try to pull in more potential customers, although you should always try to maximize the number of people who visit your website.

5 Tips to Increase Conversions Rates

Call to Action: Basically, you can increase your conversion rates if you ask people to purchase your product. A call to action actually lets your potential customer know what to do next. It should be clear, provide a specific direction and be accessible on every page which includes the header. One simple, yet very successful design is to fashion a big, red button that the reader can click on to take them to the checkout.

Directional Cues:

This directs people to your call to action on the page. Often the simplest of visual images such as an arrow or photo of a person looking at the call to action is enough to get them to go where you want. Few things increase conversion rates as much as placing simple directional cues for the reader.

Infographics or Informational Video:

A short video is a great to explain potentially complex information in a very short amount of time. Infographics can also explain visually in a better manner than what you could achieve with paragraphs of words.

User Friendly Navigation:

The easier it is for a person to navigate your website, the more impressed they will be with your business. Conversely, the more difficult it is for them to find what they want on your website, the easier it will be for them to leave. Do not let this happen, make your website as easy and intuitive to navigate as possible.

Clear Message:

You need to make your message clear and concise so that a potential customer does not get confused. A person that gets confused does not purchase products from you. So, develop a Unique Selling Proposition (UPS) that entices people to make the purchase such as, “The fast & easy way for small business to create Mobile Apps” or “Discover Great Food at a Great Price”. These are really tag lines that let customer know who you are and what makes you different than the competition.

Maximizing your conversion rates will help you grab more sales and increase your profits at an investment that is usually far less than trying to make up the difference by seeking more web traffic.

How have you tried to boost your conversion rates? You may have overlooked the obvious means of getting more people to purchase your products.

It is so true that a picture is worth a thousand words. Effective use of photos on your website can enhance the overall quality of your presentation to potential customers. Whether you buy photos or take them yourself, good, high quality photographs that speak directly to your products or services can not only increase sales, but enhance your overall business efforts.

Of course, it comes down to the effective use of photos in your marketing efforts that will help maximize your success. A good mix of stock photos and photographs that you have taken of your products and business can make a world of difference.

Tips for Using Photos in Marketing

Use Photos that Augment your Content:

Basically, photos can convey information in manner that is far quicker and more direct than text or audio. For example, in the medical industry photos of your awards, patients who approved of your services, virtual tours of the office and so forth can help your audience relate better to what you do. Photos that relate to what your business emphasizes will reinforce your brand as well as offer more direct information that customers can relate.

Consistent with Branding:

All the photos that you use on your website should be consistent with the purpose of your business. They should augment your branding and enhance your business in some manner. In addition, they need to be consistent in tone as well if you choose a vintage, modern or corporate look for example. Photos that are out of place will only confuse visitors who may develop a negative impression of your business.

Be Simple:

All too often, graphic designers will get carried away with Photoshop effects and fancy graphics when a simple, clean presentation will work much better. You don’t always have to Photoshop and quite often a simple, clear photograph will speak volumes to your company.
Don’t Forget the Technical Stuff: Photos do take up space on your website, so they will need to be optimized properly. While 300dpi for printed pictures is fine, 72dpi for web is recommended. By optimizing your photos, you’ll speed up the loading time of your website so customers will not have to wait as long. Plus, you should search engine optimize your photos as well, naming them with a keyword and placing an Alt Tag or alternate text that will appear if the viewer has images turned off of their browser.

Remember that you cannot just grab any old photo off the web because it may belong to someone else. The last thing you need to is owe photo royalty payments if you are using an image that does not belong to you.

The photos that you have taken for yourself need to be clear and of good color composition in order to work for your website. You can always buy photos from stock photo sites as well, such as Transform Design which offers a wealth of photographs perfect for many online businesses.
Do you use photos on your website? If so, what type of photos would you like to see sold by stock photograph companies that will enhance your business efforts?
